Scam Alert: Fake Government Grant Cold-Calls
Scammers claiming to represent the Australian Government have been targeting Australians.  The Department has identified a cold-call scam operation where the scammer announces themselves as the Australian Government Grants Department and claims ownership of the Government’s www.grantslink.gov.au website.  For more information go to the Media Release

Computers, IT Gear and Programs: DonorTec
DonorTec provides donated and discounted technology products and services from companies such as Microsoft, Symantec, Sophos, Kaspersky and Cisco to eligible income tax exempt (ITE) Australian non-profit groups. Via this program nonprofits can access the latest technology, including desktop and laptop computers via donations or generous discounts.  This is an exciting program to assist Australian nonprofits build their ICT capacity and has already assisted thousands of groups make huge savings in their operations!
